Open Tibia, where I started
I learned to program by tinkering with an Open Tibia server as a kid. I still use the game to try a new idea before taking it to a client. The NPCs that answer through a model came from there. I also wrote the extractor that reads the client's binary format and builds the sprite atlas.

Estimating outcomes from public sources, in weather, football and macro indicators. The work is continuous ingestion, reconciling what the source revises later, and keeping cost under control.
